my monday off involves happy mass destruction

So [personal profile] norabombay is responsible for my next credit card statement due to overuse of Amazon and iTunes because in a fit of what I thought was sympathy post-Sherlock, she introduced me to Grosse Pointe Blank since I hadn't seen it (don't judge), and I'm happier, but also, poorer trying to get the soundtrack by piecemeal since it's not downloadable as a whole and where is Blister 2000 anyway?

That I'm listening to Guns N'Roses Live and Let Die with no sense of irony hurts me dreadfully. Then again, I get to hum happily to myself whenever there is shooting, and there is a truly satisfactory amount of shooting. Happy.

ETA: This movie isn't on bluray? What kind of sick world do we live in?

PS: Okay, that's it, this is a night of Steve Wariner music and pre-ordering The Fray's new album. Between Sherlock and the vast betrayal of bluray technology, I really have no choice. And I'm downloading the two singles now. That is where I am. Even though I am not sure The Fighter really expresses my pain sufficiently. Or Heartbeat.

HOW is that soundtrack not available anymore?! I've owned it since the movie came out! One of the greatest movies (and soundtracks) of all time! THIS IS FUCKERY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER.

Let me know if there's anything you can't find. I'm more than happy to be of assistance. This sort of gross negligence on the part of the entertainment industry should not be allowed to stand!

I also have the soundtrack and can upload whatever songs you can't find. Grosse Pointe Blank. <333

If I knew how, I'd share the very awesome soundtrack with you! (Better than the movie, imho.)

One of the best movies ever. I've got no clue how it would work, but I've always kind of wanted a Due South AU of this - one where Fraser just couldn't handle all his internal anger at the world and ran away to become Canadian Special Forces and then go independent. I can totally see Fraser as a charming contract killer, who eventually regains his desire for civilian life.

...and seriously, how do I not have the soundtrack?

I love, love, love this movie. In very boring lunch meetings, I often wonder about killing the president of Paraguay with a fork.

How is Grosse Pointe Blank not on BlueRay?? (...have you read the XMen AU?)
