Quick note:

Not dead. And I apologize; I'm working on three fannish things and my middle sister announced both her pregnancy and her upcoming nuptials, and the younger sister is--er. Nevermind. Also, former stepniece is visiting. There's a fairly good chance I'm going to come out of the next two weeks with either a drinking problem or a light addiction to over the counter Tylenol PM.

You know what would also be nice? A nap.

*hugs* Sister drama is no fun. Go easy on your liver. Don't mix the two habits. Your sisters come and go, your liver is for life. ;-)

Take care. I'll be around online, definitely tomorrow night if not tonight.

missed you, hang in there!!

Have you done that thing I asked you to do yet? If not, please. It matters.

I actualy do understand that.

I'm glad to hear that. As you probably can tell, I'm a bit frustrated with the way this went down.

Yay, naps! Sorry everything got piled on you at once. And I hope your sunburn is better now.

Hmm. Is the delayed notification--aka NOT GETTING ANY COMMENTS MAILED TO ME--normal still? Gah.

I finally got three from this morning, but it took like six hours for them to show up. I think there was some kind of database blip this morning, that's when it started acting weird.

hey your fic tag links don't seem to be working. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

How would you feel about some Lovecraft pastiche? He came up on Making Light recently, these were recommended and I NATURALLY thought of you.

Charlie Stross' The Atrocity Archives - Computer Geeks protect us from the Elder Gods.
P.H. Cannon's Scream for Jeeves - Jeeves and Wooster and the Elder Gods.
Nick Mamatas' Move Under Ground - Jack Kerouac and the Elder Gods.
Shadows over Baker Street - An anthology where Holmes and Watson investigate the Elder Gods.

And for immediate gratification, "The Great Old Pumpkin" by John Aegard.

naps are good. perhaps you'll get the opportunity...eventually...

also, let thoughts of SGA guide your way: What Would John Do?

Passes you the vodka.

It's not a problem. It's an early Fourth of July celebration. You're just preparing your liver for the annual beer-b-q.
