Your Cowboy Days Are Over by samdonne, sga, John, gen.

Read it *now*. Blew my mind.

But I'm in the moooood for Rodney. Will there be Rodney?

Some, but probably not until the 2/3 mark.

And god, was that not the best thing ever.

I have never been so overcome reading the words "Rodney McKay."

Jesus. Um. I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you for that.

I'm very pleased to see this story get such a good reception.

Wow. Thanks for the rec.

Note to self:
Never start one of Jenn's recs at work. You will be blotting tears in your cube and not get anything useful accomplished until you are done with it.

Thanks! :-)

I'm still *vibrating*. Oh my *GOD*. That just--it was *everything*.

I'm still rereading bits and trying to catch my breath.

Wow, thanks for that: it hurt, but in a good way.

The memory thing reminded me of the fantasy equivalent that happens in Robin Hobb's Assassin's Quest: amazing writer, but that and other things ended the book so unhappily I almost never wanted to read it again.

Mmmm, and you have yet to finish FS, to read more of her brilliant fic. There are some stories set earlier in the series, though.

Posted a whole incoherent. thing.

Thank you for the rec.

Oh crap, I haven't finished the end of this yet. I had to run to work ... being already late because I started it before hand.

It.. lingers.

Thank you for this rec. I really don't think I would have read it, to be honest, but I trust your judgment in matters of the fic, and that trust was rewarded so much with this wonderful story.

Little LJ helpers pointed me this way, and I thought the least I could do was say thank you for the rec. I'm sure I owe you and a few others for most of the people who gave this particular story a chance.
