The Fortress of Rabbitude, Mark One

Temporarily, I disassembled cardboard boxes for the flooring for levels two and three and a tarp for the bottom. Me and Home Depot are bonding over how to assemble the floors. Hmm.

Reggie is on the bottom, Sloppy and Bryante the middle, and Mr. Waffles--dear God, that name--on top.

And I have like, almsot two boxes of panels left to add! *bounces* This is so very exciting. I could totally get a waterfall.

I can completely totally absolutely see Rodney doing this. I really can. In technicolor.

And I happen to be madly in love with Mr. Waffles - that's just about the best name ever *G*.

Rodney would build, like, a rabbit *space station* or something.

But seriously, the panels are just too much fun. I mean, the zip ties kill my fingers, but oh my God, so fun.

Oh yes. John would say "Um...is that a miniature EVA suit? Mr. Waffles doesn't look too happy about the helmet, Rodney." and Rodney would be all "Well, d'uh, it's a space station! Of course they need EVA suits! He's just ah...Mr. Waffles! Stop trying to gnaw the helmet off!," and John would go back and beg Carson for tranquilizers (for himself) *G*.

It looks fabulous - like the rabbit equivalent of Las Vegas - your bunnies are so lucky to have you. And I'm in awe because I feel a deep sense of home improvement accomplishment if I change a light bulb.

*dies*

I wonder if Rodney would make little missiles out of carrots...

As long as the next one isn't named syrup, it's all good.

Ms. Powdered Sugar even.

I love the assupmtion that there is going to be a next one.

*snickers*

*resigned*

Oh yeah. This is my Pet of Fate. So--yes. There will be more.

That is impressive. I look forward to future updates.

My *mother* looks forward to future updates. I read your rabbit posts to her and then we try to keep each other from falling on the floor while we laugh. Lots of fun, whole family, very therapeutic.

(Though I'm kinda surprised there isn't a nice mural with a country meadow scene painted on the walls behind your bunnies.)

I was reading the previous comments--specifically the ones about Rodney building a rabbit space station. And yeah, weird flash of the Crimes Against Humanity-verse with rabbits. It was, yeah, special. Sort of like that scene from Hide and Seek, where Rodney's talking to the lab mice, only instead of skipping over to get his gene therapy he's thinking of new ways to control people.

With regards to the actual fortress though, fantastic! Thanks for posting the picture!

I am loving the panels! Your rabbit updates are too cute, lol.

just one question...how are you going to clean this rabbit fortress??? :)

THAT is something to behold!

geez, that's impressive! it's a magnificent Fortress indeed - and the boys should be proud to occupy it. I await further updates and remodeling notes - it's way more exciting than my life

Awesome! I like Reggie's little glowing eye.

It's the Rabbit Waldorf-Astoria! It's beautiful!

*wonders idly how the masterful Reggie will manage to break out of this one*

This thing is awesome. And also almost bigger than my apartment. *boggles*

Woooh!

I knew it was better than what I was trying to picture in my head!

Awesome!
